According to Urban Milwaukee, media registration is now open for 2025 MARKETPLACE Wisconsin, the Governor’s Conference on Diverse Business Development. Organized by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), the 44th annual event will take place December 10–11, 2025, at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, with a virtual Contracting Academy (TCA) held on December 9.
MARKETPLACE Wisconsin is the state’s premier networking event connecting veteran and disabled-owned businesses with government agencies and corporate buyers. The conference provides small business owners with opportunities to network, attend workshops, and participate in buyer meetings aimed at expanding contracting and supplier diversity opportunities.
This year’s program includes sessions on artificial intelligence, eCommerce, business credit, and capacity building, along with one-on-one matchmaking meetings between business owners and procurement officials.
Early-bird registration for attendees is $55 through November 7, increasing to $75 after that date. Space is limited, and no on-site registration will be available.
