Small Sellers Surge as Amazon Business Expands Global Selection by 25%

Amazon Business has expanded its global selection by 25%, giving organizations of all sizes—from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies—greater access to hundreds of millions of products worldwide. This milestone reflects Amazon’s commitment to supporting small sellers, whose product selection on the platform has grown by nearly 80% year-over-year.

The expansion is part of Amazon Business’s ongoing effort to make business purchasing easier and more efficient. By broadening the variety and volume of available items, the platform enhances the shopping experience for business customers across industries—ranging from professional medical and commercial kitchen equipment to educational technology, industrial manufacturing supplies, and facility maintenance products.

Small business sellers, in particular, benefit from increased visibility and access to a global customer base. Today, more than 160 million items on Amazon Business come from small business sellers, allowing these entrepreneurs to reach organizations that might otherwise be difficult to serve. Business buyers, in turn, gain the ability to source specialized items at competitive prices, supported by Amazon’s reliable logistics and flexible delivery solutions.

Amazon Business also continues to invest in features that help organizations save time and money, such as Guided Buying to control spending, Spend Analytics for data-driven purchasing insights, and quantity discounts that generated over $150 million in savings for U.S. organizations in the first half of the year. Globally, small business customers saved more than $70 million through bulk purchasing and other tools.

This growth coincides with Amazon Business reaching a major milestone of over $35 billion in annualized gross sales. Now serving more than eight million organizations worldwide—including 97 of the Fortune 100—Amazon Business is reinforcing its role as a strategic partner for procurement leaders seeking value, selection, and efficiency.
